Pedestrian Accidents in Pennsylvania
Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most severe and life-threatening accidents on our roads every year. This is almost entirely due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm when involved in an accident with a passenger vehicle. In 2020, it is estimated that approximately 146 pedestrians were killed in fatal accidents in the state of Pennsylvania. The truth is, these accidents can typically be prevented but continue to occur due to negligent reasons. Some of the most common reasons for fatal pedestrian accidents include the following:
• Driver distractions
• Drunk driving

• Drowsy driving
