Philadelphia, PA (June 14, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, June 12, according to the Pennsylvania State Police, a woman was killed after a large piece of metal debris struck her vehicle on an area highway.
Troopers with the PSP stated that the incident occurred on Interstate 95 near Columbus Boulevard at 4:40 p.m.
The victim, a 33-year-old woman, was driving a 2014 Subaru Impreza when she was fatally injured. Per reports released by authorities, the woman was struck by the piece of metal after it penetrated her vehicle’s windshield.
Officers think the flying debris came from another vehicle. Any witnesses in the area were asked to contact the PSP right away.
