Philadelphia, PA (April 30, 2024) – Police are still investigating the cause of a crash that left two people dead on Route 202 in the Montgomery Township area but have released further details in connection with the incident.
Officers say the incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. Monday near Horsham Road in Montgomery Township. The crash involved an SUV and a large car carrier truck, and the SUV could be seen resting inside of an embankment with its front end destroyed. Another car was flipped over across the middle of Route 202. At least two people were pronounced dead at the scene, with one driver taken to an area hospital. However, there was no word on any other injuries, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
