Philadelphia, PA (June 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist was critically hurt in a two-car collision in the Philadelphia-area Borough of Wattsburg on Saturday afternoon, June 17.
The collision involving a pick-up truck and the motorcycle occurred on Route 89 close to the Erie County Fairgrounds at about 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
The Pennsylvania State Police cordoned off a section of Route 89 between Haskhill Road and Main Street. The motorcyclist was airlifted to UPMC Hamot by Lifeflight, which had been dispatched by authorities to the site shortly after the wreck occurred. However, the truck driver’s medical status is unknown at this time.
The Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the incident, though no further details have been released.
