Philadelphia, PA (May 21, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries when a motorized scooter and a car collided with one another in the Kensington area of Philadelphia on Friday, May 20th.
According to sources, at about 2:30 a.m., a Toyota Corolla was attempting to exit a parking space by making a U-turn in the 1800th block of Allegheny Avenue.
As the driver was checking for oncoming traffic in one direction, a motorized scoot approaching from the other direction struck the vehicle.
Both the operator and passenger of the scooter were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver is currently listed in stable condition while the passenger remains critical.
The driver of the Corolla stayed at the scene.
