Philadelphia, PA (August 24, 2023) – A two-car collision occurred in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, prompting an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident reportedly took place on the Vine Street Expressway in the heart of the city, just after 8:00 p.m. Officers added that the incident caused the eastbound freeway lanes between Broad Street and 8th Street to be closed.
According to the police, one individual was injured in the crash and sent to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
The victim’s current condition and the cause behind the accident are unknown at this time. However, authorities are continuing to investigate and asked for any witnesses to step forward.
