Pittsburgh, PA (July 22, 2025) – Pennsylvania State Police say that one person was killed and another was injured in an early-morning head-on crash in Washington County.
The crash happened just after 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, along Route 40 near the intersection with Valleyview Road in North Bethlehem Township, according to dispatchers.
One person died in the crash, and another was flown by medical helicopter from the scene. The extent of the other victim’s injuries wasn’t immediately known, dispatchers said. Details are limited at this time, but an investigation is ongoing, and witnesses were asked to come forward.
