Quakertown, PA (April 23, 2022) – Around 5 p.m. on the evening of Friday, April 22, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in Quakertown.
According to Northampton County Police, the accident happened on PA-309. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area on a red motorcycle when he was suddenly struck by a black passenger vehicle that was pulling out of a parking lot. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The motorcycle was badly damaged and debris was left scattered all over the middle of the highway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, identified as 57-year-old James Taylor of Northampton County, was seriously injured in the accident. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
