Ridley Park, PA (July 10, 2022) – On Sunday evening, July 10, a number of vehicles collided on a route close to the Ridley Park area, inflicting injuries on both the drivers and passengers, according to reports.
The incident, which occurred at roughly 7:20 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Exit 9 and Route 420, caused traffic to back up as far as Bartram Avenue, according to the Ridley Park Police Department.
Both cars needed to be towed because of significant damage, even though the reason of the incident remains unclear.
Among others, Ridley Park Fire and Emergency Medical Services units assisted at the incident site. The two or three injured victims seem to have been moved to nearby hospitals, despite the fact that authorities have not yet verified their names or the extent of their injuries.
Traffic was backed up as a result of the police inspecting the accident site for about an hour. The reasons of the crash are now being looked into by Ridley Park and Philadelphia authorities.
We send our best wishes for a quick recovery to the accident victims.
