South Brunswick, NJ (October 13, 2024) – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash on Route 522 on Thursday, October 10, resulting in the death of a Kendall Park resident.
According to New Jersey State Police, South Brunswick Police, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, authorities are still investigating the incident, but officials said they were called to Route 522 and Georges Road due to reports of a crash around 7:15 p.m. Police arrived to find a Hyundai Sonata had been struck by a Jeep Liberty, per a press release.
The three occupants of the Hyundai Sonata were transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. The rear passenger, a 43-year-old Kendall Park man, was pronounced deceased at the hospital, police confirmed on Friday. However, the cause of the crash remains under inquiry.
