Tinton Falls, NJ (October 29, 2024) – According to area officials, one driver was killed and another seriously injured on October 26 in a three-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Tinton Falls, authorities said.
Three cars were traveling on the southbound side of the highway at 4:20 a.m. near milepost 102.8 when two collided head-on, State Police said. The third vehicle then rear-ended the two vehicles involved in the initial crash. The driver of a vehicle that became engulfed in flames died at the scene. A 23-year-old Brick man driving another car was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The driver of the third vehicle suffered minor injuries. Fire rescue teams were also spotted via local news footage. However, the accident remains under investigation, and no further details have been reported so far. Witnesses were asked to contact officers if they had any additional information.
