Trenton, NJ (July 6, 2025) – A woman was killed, while two men were hurt, in a fiery crash in Trenton, New Jersey, on Saturday, July 5.
Investigators said a 22-year-old man was driving a black BMW eastbound on South Broad Street from Trenton into Hamilton Township shortly before 12:30 p.m. As he reached the intersection of South Broad and Lalor streets, a 51-year-old man driving a silver Toyota Tacoma made a left turn onto Lalor from the westbound side of South Broad Street, police said. The Tacoma and BMW then collided.
The force of the crash caused a 51-year-old woman, who was a passenger inside the Tacoma, to be ejected from the vehicle, which overturned and then later caught fire.
The woman, who suffered severe injuries, was taken to the Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Officials have not yet revealed her identity. The 51-year-old man and the 22-year-old man were taken to the same hospital and treated for lacerations.
However, no further details were released as officers confirmed that the crash remained under investigation. In the interim, officers asked any witnesses to come forward right away.
