Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most catastrophic accidents on our roads in New Jersey. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident with any type of vehicle. Drivers are expected to watch out for pedestrians at all times so that these accidents can always be prevented. However, far too often, these collisions still continue to take place due to the negligence of others. In 2021 alone, it was reported that approximately 207 pedestrians were killed and many others sustained severe injuries. If you have been seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that is not your fault, you may be feeling confused and alone. This is why you should speak with an attorney who has your best interests in mind after a pedestrian accident.
The aftermath of a pedestrian accident can be a scary and devastating thing to face. You may be left with questions that only a Tuckerton pedestrian accident attorney can answer. For instance, what types of evidence do you need to prove that another party is at fault for your accident? What deadlines will you be required to meet when it comes to moving forward with a successful claim against another party? Will your case be settled or will it make it all the way to trial? These are questions that a Tuckerton personal injury lawyer will be able to help you answer.
