Vineland, NJ (February 9, 2022) – A woman was killed in a fatal crash that took place at a Vineland intersection on Tuesday morning, February 8.
Vineland Police confirmed that the accident happened around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Hance Bridge and Canterbury Lane. Police confirmed that a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo was traveling south on Hance Bridge and being operated by a 19-year-old woman. The vehicle collided head-on with a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was traveling north at the intersection. The vehicles both sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The 19-year-old female was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. It is not known if anyone else was hurt in the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
