Warren Twp, NJ (February 15, 2023) – On Monday, February 13, a 27-year-old Hillsborough man died following a car accident in Warren Township.
The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 78 at around 10:10 p.m. The victim was headed east in a Dodge pickup truck when he collided with a Tesla. The impact caused the Tesla to cross the road and hit a metal guardrail. The Dodge left the interstate where it crashed into multiple trees and overturned.
The driver was ejected and sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The severity of the other resulting injuries has not been determined. The identity of the deceased victim has been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
