Winslow, NJ (April 20, 2022) – At 12:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 20, a man was killed in a fatal truck accident in Winslow.
According to local authorities, the accident happened on the White Horse Pike around the area of Spring Garden Road. A 73-year-old man was traveling in the area when his vehicle was suddenly struck head-on with a box truck. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result of the collision.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Charles Souza of Texas, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was rushed to the hospital with injuries but is expected to be okay.
