Woodlyn, PA (May 9, 2022) – On the evening of Monday, May 99, a tractor-trailer accident with injuries took place on a highway in the Woodlyn area, just outside of Philadelphia.
According to officers who reported to the crash site, the incident happened after 10:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-476, around the exit to I-95, when a tractor-trailer going through the area collided with one or more passenger cars. The vehicles involved in the collision were severely damaged, and the tractor-trailer ran off the side of the roadway as a result of the initial wreck.
Emergency responders were called to the area, including paramedics and fire services, to assist people who had been injured. The current conditions of those hurt are not known, however.
As police proceeded to clear the area, many lanes of traffic were jammed for some time.
