36-year-old male chef was a passenger in rear cargo area of Defendant’s truck. While plaintiff was attempting to exit the vehicle, defendant negligently moved the truck causing plaintiff to slip and fall backwards out of the truck. Plaintiff sustained multiple injuries including a basal skull fracture, concussion, and loss of sense of smell. An offer of $125,000 was rejected during trial.
