Robbinsville, NJ (August 27, 2023) – A multi-car crash with an overturned vehicle and alleged entrapment occurred in the northbound outer lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening, August 25.
Troopers with the New Jersey State Police, Robbinsville Township Fire Department, and EMS were all sent to the scene. Upon their arrival, authorities discovered two other cars in the area were damaged, and one was flipped over onto its top.
The injured victims were sent to nearby medical facilities, though the total number of people involved remains unknown.
New Jersey State Police are now looking into the collision but have not reported further details in the interim. Their investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
