Bensalem Township, PA (February 3, 2026) – A high-speed accident involving three vehicles left one man dead and four others injured early Tuesday morning, February 3, in Bucks County. The crash happened around midnight on Street Road near the Interstate 95 interchange in Bensalem Township.
Police said the impact was severe, causing one of the vehicles to catch fire. Officers arrived to find a silver 2013 Chevrolet Sonic fully engulfed in flames. The driver was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as 44-year-old Timur Khabelov of Brooklyn, New York. Two passengers inside the burning vehicle were rescued and taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition. They were identified as 43-year-old Farruh Homidov and 39-year-old Askar Narziev.
The drivers of the other two vehicles, a 2017 Dodge Journey and a 2015 Honda Accord, were transported to area hospitals with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Their names have not been released.
Investigators reported that Khabelov was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and struck the Dodge Journey. His vehicle then went airborne, crossed the median, and hit the Honda Accord before bursting into flames.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased victim.
What Makes High-Speed Multi-Vehicle Crashes So Dangerous in Pennsylvania?
High-speed multi-vehicle accidents often lead to the most severe outcomes because the force of impact increases dramatically at higher speeds. When several cars are involved, drivers and passengers may face risks from multiple points of impact, vehicle rollovers, or fires. Busy corridors near highway interchanges can become especially dangerous when speeding or missed traffic signals occur.
These crashes frequently result in serious injuries such as head trauma, spinal damage, broken bones, or burns. Some victims require critical care right away, while others may face long recovery periods and ongoing medical needs. Even injuries described as non-life-threatening can still involve significant treatment, missed work, and lasting physical effects.
After a serious multi-car accident, families often have questions about medical costs, insurance claims, and what steps may be available. Keeping hospital records and crash documentation organized can help people manage follow-up care and communication with insurers.
A wrongful death lawyer can review the facts of a crash and explain what legal options may apply. An attorney can also clarify whether certain types of compensation may be available, depending on the circumstances and the injuries involved.
