Birdsboro, PA (March 13, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a major roadway in Birdsboro on Sunday morning, March 13.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of PA-422 around the area of Limekiln Road and South Center Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the eastbound lanes of traffic when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in multiple eastbound lanes until police cleared the scene.
