Bristol, PA (May 1, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Bristol on Saturday afternoon, April 30.
According to Bristol Police, the accident happened at 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Garden Street. Police confirmed that a blue BMW was traveling in the area when it entered the intersection, forcefully colliding with a Nissan minivan. The two vehicles sustained severe damages in the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several injured victims had to be extricated from their vehicles by fire crews. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
