Fairless Hills, PA (April 24, 2022) – Around 7:35 p.m. on Sunday evening, April 24, one person was killed in a Fairless Hills car accident.
According to Falls Township Police, the accident happened on Tyburn Road around the area of Cedar Lane. Police confirmed that one person was traveling in the area when they lost control of their vehicle and they went off the side of the road. The vehicle rolled over the guardrail, where it landed in a wooded area off the side of the highway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Both of the individuals inside the vehicle were heavily entrapped and had to be extricated by fire crews. One person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, identified only as an adult woman. The other party was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The roadway was blocked in both directions for an extended period of time. Police were able to fully clear the scene within six hours.
