Gloucester Township, NJ (February 25, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious two-vehicle collision that took place on a major roadway in Gloucester Township on Thursday, February 24.
Local officials confirmed that the crash happened around 2 p.m. at 1400 North Black Horse Pike. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing the two to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One motorist was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. The party was rushed to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. It is not known if anybody else was hurt in the collision.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident until police cleared the scene. This led to delays for some time.
