Hamilton, NJ (January 23, 2022) – On Sunday morning before sunrise, January 23, a car accident with injuries occurred in Hamilton.
Hamilton officials confirmed that the accident took place in the southbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike around the area of I-195 and US-206. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
