Jersey City, NJ (May 16, 2023) – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office reports that a pedestrian was critically hurt in a hit-and-run accident in Jersey City on Monday, May 15.
The incident took place about midnight on Monday at the intersection of Newark Avenue and Coles Street. According to authorities, a male in his thirties was hurt in the collision.
The car that hit him fled the scene, and officers did not mention the vehicle’s make or model. Authorities added that the victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.
