Residential Fires in New Jersey
Fires break out commonly in the United States every single day, between vehicle crashes, residential blazes, commercial fires, and beyond. These incidents can happen anywhere but tend to spread more quickly in our major cities, where houses and apartments feel closer together than ever. In the last several years, it is estimated that approximately 490,500 fires broke out in residential and commercial areas annually, with approximately 13,000 people sustaining injuries in these incidents. Some injuries are more common than others in fires, including the following:
- Various-degree burns
- Smoke inhalation injuries
- Fatalities in the worst cases
The harsh reality is that many fires can be prevented when precautions are taken. If you believe that a party or multiple individuals are at fault for the fire that caused your injuries, you should speak with an attorney immediately.
