Logan Township, NJ (March 24, 2022) – Three people were hurt in a car accident that took place in Logan Township on Thursday morning, March 24.
According to Gloucester County officials, the accident happened around 12:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of NJ-130 around the area of Cedar Swamp Road. The roads were slick with rain when one driver suddenly lost control in the area, causing two or more vehicles to collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One man, who has not yet been identified, was trapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. Three victims were injured and rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the collision, a portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
