Montoursville, PA (July 11, 2025) – On July 11, motorists were advised that Route 235 was closed in both directions between Route 522 in Spring Township, Snyder County, and Route 35 in Juniata County, due to a tractor-trailer crash.
According to officers with the Montoursville Police Department, the company responded to a vehicle accident right after 1:00 p.m. It’s unclear how the incident took place, but the semi-truck collided with at least one or two other vehicles, per local news footage.
Crews worked to restrict the lanes in the area, and dispatchers called in EMTs. Paramedics assessed a handful of people at the site, though their current conditions are unknown. Snyder County officials are investigating. In the meantime, however, no further details have been provided.
