Millcreek, PA (August 27, 2025) – A young child was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon, August 26, in a multi-vehicle crash that ended in the parking lot of the Public House restaurant in Millcreek, according to police.
The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities said that a grey Kia Sedona, traveling eastbound in the left lane of West Ridge Road, struck a vehicle in the left-turn lane at the Asbury Road intersection. The impact caused the Kia to continue through the intersection, where it hit a blue Mazda. Both vehicles lost control and careened into the restaurant’s parking lot, colliding with several parked cars.
Police confirmed that a 10-year-old child, who was a passenger in the Mazda, suffered serious injuries. The child was transported to Pittsburgh for treatment. However, the investigation remains ongoing, and Millcreek police are asking anyone with information to contact their department.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones in hopes of their complete recovery.
Auto Accident Reports in Pennsylvania
Every year, thousands of vehicle accidents occur across Pennsylvania, causing serious injuries and life-altering consequences for countless drivers and passengers. Researchers projected that by the end of last year, traffic patterns across the Commonwealth would result in more than 100,000 reported collisions. Many of these crashes happen in an instant when drivers disregard traffic laws or engage in reckless behavior. Common causes include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), distracted driving, such as texting or using a phone, and excessive speeding. Each of these preventable behaviors increases the risk of devastating crashes.

For those injured in an auto accident, the aftermath can be overwhelming. Victims may face mounting medical bills, lost wages, emotional distress, and an uncertain path forward. Navigating Pennsylvania’s complex legal system alone can be frustrating, especially when insurance companies are quick to minimize payouts or dispute fault.
Working with a Pennsylvania car accident attorney can make a critical difference. An attorney can investigate the crash, gather vital evidence of negligence, meet filing deadlines, and pursue maximum compensation for damages such as medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and future care needs. Acting quickly is essential, as delays can weaken your case or jeopardize your rights under Pennsylvania law.
