Nicholson Township, PA (January 12, 2026) – A deadly two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 34-year-old woman on Sunday, January 11, along State Route 11 in Nicholson Township, Wyoming County. The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. on an icy stretch of roadway during early morning travel hours.
According to confirmed information, a pickup truck traveling south lost control due to slick road conditions. The truck then struck an oncoming sedan. The impact caused severe damage to both vehicles involved in the crash.
The driver of the sedan, identified as Victoria Njeri of Tunkhannock, suffered fatal injuries. Emergency units arrived at the scene and pronounced her dead at the location. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Officials identified the pickup truck as a 2005 Ford F-250. The sedan involved was a 2012 Toyota Camry. Authorities did not release details about the pickup driver or whether that person required medical care.
Emergency crews secured the area while the roadway was managed, and both damaged vehicles were removed from the scene. Towing services later cleared the vehicles from State Route 11 so travel could resume safely.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the woman who lost her life in this wreck.
