Philadelphia, PA (February 10, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at a Philadelphia intersection on Thursday night, February 10.
Philadelphia Police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of US-1 and Byberry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Several responders, including Philadelphia paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was almost completely blocked at the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
