Philadelphia, PA (March 26, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, March 26.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Cottman Street and Rhawn Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained heavy damages as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
