Philadelphia, PA (April 22, 2022) – Around 6:25 p.m. on the evening of Friday, April 22, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place on a highway in Philadelphia.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-676 around the area of 22nd Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
