Philadelphia, PA (January 14, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on a highway in Philadelphia on Friday morning, January 14.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of traffic around 8 a.m. Two pickup trucks were traveling in the northbound lanes when they forcefully collided with one another due to unknown reasons. One of the pickup trucks sustained heavy front-end damage and a flat tire. The involved vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the highway was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
