Philadelphia, PA (November 30, 2022) – On Wednesday, November 30, in the late evening, a multiple-vehicle incident reportedly happened in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, resulting in injuries to a number of victims.
The incident happened in the right southbound lanes of Interstate 95 at the Washington Avenue and Vine Street exits, according to the Philadelphia Police and other authorities, and it backed up traffic for at least a mile. Around 9:40 p.m., two cars trying to merge into the right lanes collided.
The Philadelphia Fire Department and EMS workers were among the many first responders that arrived. Two to three individuals were hurt in the incident and sent to the hospital for treatment, but officials don’t know how serious their injuries are or about their current conditions.
There was a roadblock while officers investigated and cleared the site.
