Tewksbury, NJ (July 15, 2025) – Long Valley first responders assisted in the helicopter evacuation of a motorcycle crash victim on Sunday morning, July 13, according to EMS personnel.
On Sunday, around 11:15 a.m., first responders were called out to a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Route 517 near Tewksbury in Hunterdon County. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and required a helicopter evacuation, according to the Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad.
The victim was transported by helicopter to the Morristown Medical Center. Several responding agencies were on the scene assisting, including the Oldwick Fire Company and the Tewksbury Township Police Department. In the meantime, the Tewksbury Township Police Department is handling the ongoing inquiry and has asked any witnesses to get in touch.
