Whitehall, PA (January 6, 2022) – On Wednesday evening, January 5, four people were injured in a serious two-vehicle crash in Whitehall.
Local officials confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area on PA-51 near the Baldwin High School. The cars collided with one another, causing one of the vehicles to become propelled into a parking lot off the side of the road. Both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including Whitehall paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. A total of four people were rushed to local hospitals due to serious injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for several hours due to the severity of the crash. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
