Abington Township, PA (May 26, 2025) – A man is dead after a crash in part of Lackawanna County on Sunday evening, May 25.
Two cars collided head-on along North State Street in South Abington Township just after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. According to the Lackawanna County Coroner’s Office, a 69-year-old Dickson City man died at the hospital. North State Street was shut down for about two hours as crews cleared the wreck. In the meantime, the deadly crash remains under investigation by South Abington Township Police, and no further details have been provided.
