Bensalem, PA (January 30, 2022) – Around 8:55 p.m. on Saturday night, January 29, a pedestrian crash that led to critical injuries happened in Bensalem.
According to Bensalem Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Knights Road and Dunksferry Road. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a four-door sedan that was traveling in the area. The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Their condition is not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident as of yet.
