Berlin, NJ (January 27, 2022) – Two people were injured in a bus accident that took place in Berlin on Thursday morning, January 27.
According to Winslow Township Police, the accident happened at 7 a.m. at 100 Cedarbrook Road. A small school bus was traveling in the area when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to travel off the side of the road. It struck a utility pole and then ran into a large tree on the side of the road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 74-year-old bus driver, as well as the 78-year-old aide on the bus, were both injured in the accident. They were both listed in serious condition at the hospital. There were no children on the bus at the time.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the road was blocked for an extended period of time.
