Bethlehem, PA (December 19, 2023) – A 62-year-old woman from Easton was killed in a two-vehicle collision in West Bethlehem on Sunday, according to officials.
Per reports from municipal police, the collision between a minivan and the work van occurred just before 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon near the intersection of Eaton Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue. The woman was seated in the front passenger seat of the minivan. She was rushed to the hospital but later declared dead at 4:40 p.m. at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill as a result of blunt force injuries caused by the collision, according to authorities.
In addition to the victim, police said that one person from the work vehicle and another person from the minivan were both sent to a local hospital due to serious injuries, and both remained hospitalized as of Monday morning.
