Burlington, NJ (February 20, 2024) – According to New Jersey State Police troopers, officials were dispatched to the New Jersey Turnpike on Tuesday morning, February 20, around 4:25 a.m. in response to a motor vehicle collision.
The incident occurred at the 54.4-milepost southbound in Bordentown Township, Burlington County. Preliminary inquiry revealed that a Volvo bobtail and a Volvo semitrailer collided for unknown reasons. The wreck caused fatal injuries to one of the motorists, a 30-year-old man from Huntingdon Valley. No additional injuries were reported, though the accident is still under investigation.
