Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads. This is due to the fact that they are susceptible to some of the most extensive harm in an accident. They have no protection from harm, which is why vehicle drivers are expected to watch out for pedestrians at all times. Pedestrian accidents land in hundreds of fatalities every year throughout New Jersey. In 2019, it was reported that approximately 169 people were killed in New Jersey pedestrian accidents. However, by 2021, it is estimated that 207 pedestrians were killed in pedestrian accidents throughout the state. Because New Jersey sees a high volume of pedestrian traffic, these accidents continue to occur every year.
