Clinton Township, NJ (June 25, 2023) – An accident on Sunday morning, June 25, in Clinton Township, has left several people hurt, according to NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan.
Around 9:00 a.m., near milepost 22.7 in Clinton Township, an Acura Integra driven by a 23-year-old man veered off the left side of I-78, over the center median, and into the westbound lanes.
The Hyundai, traveling westbound, collided with the Acura. The 23-year-old Acura driver and his female passenger from Middlesex were airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The two occupants of the Hyundai were also hurt, though their current conditions are unknown.
An investigation is ongoing at this time, and no additional details have been provided.
