Croydon, PA (April 8, 2022) – On Friday morning, April 8, one person lost their life in a fatal motorcycle crash that took place at a Croydon intersection.

According to local officials, the accident happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of State Road and River Road. A goose was walking across the road when it suddenly ran in front of the motorcyclist. The unidentified motorcyclist lost control, which caused them to collide with a car. An SUV was unable to stop and struck the motorcyclist head-on.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist was traumatically injured in the collision. They were tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to their injuries.
