Flourtown, PA (February 13, 2022) – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on Saturday afternoon, February 12, in Flourtown.
Montgomery County officials confirmed that the accident happened at 2000 PA-73 (Big Road). A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when their vehicle suddenly collided with a passenger vehicle. Photographs taken at the scene showed the vehicles with extensive front-end damage. Both vehicles had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks due to the damages.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person was seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked for a period of time in the area. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
