Gloucester Township, NJ (March 21, 2023) – Per the latest reports from officers with the Gloucester Township Police Department, an auto accident that took place on Sunday evening, March 19, reportedly left a policeman injured.
According to Gloucester City officials, a New Jersey State Trooper was hurt in a collision on Route 42 near Exit 8.
Preliminary reports indicate that the trooper’s vehicle was involved in a wreck with at least one other driver in the highway’s southbound lanes on Sunday evening at about 8:30 p.m.
The trooper and two other victims suffered minor injuries, which were addressed by EMTs at the site of the incident.
No other information has been revealed, but the inquiry into the wreck continues. Investigators are attempting to determine what caused the accident but have not provided further details.
