Hamilton Township, NJ (April 13, 2023) – State police reported on Thursday, April 13, that a serious car wreck on Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township sent two New Jersey state troopers to the hospital and left another driver with major injuries.
The troopers’ vehicle was reportedly hit by an SUV on Black Horse Pike, according to state police. The SUV’s driver was also injured as a result of the accident and was reportedly flown to Cooper University Hospital by medical helicopter.
Both directions of traffic on Black Horse Pike were closed for several hours between McCall Avenue and Malaga Road.
No other information has been revealed, but the inquiry into the crash continues. Hamilton and Atlantic County investigators are working to determine what caused the accident at this time and have asked any witnesses to step forward.
