Harleysville, PA (February 21, 2022) – Around 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning, February 21, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Harleysville happened in a parking lot.
According to Montgomery County Police, the accident happened in a parking lot near Ashland Drive and a children’s learning center. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 62-year-old woman face down in the parking lot. They confirmed that her injuries were consistent with a hit-and-run accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Due to her injuries, the victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Police soon discovered that the victim lived only blocks away and was likely walking in the area when she was struck.
